Sowers Class Update November 1st

Praises:
Wow! What a fantastic week with the power team! What a wonderful outreach to our community!
May we be effective witnesses and have a long-term follow up with those that came to know Lord as their personal Savior.

Thanks to everyone that helped out and prayed for a wonderful week with the Power Team!

Prayer Requests:

-Ralph's grandfather is in the hospital with shingles and lost 15 pounds in the past couple of weeks.

-Ralph's Aunt Karen has pneumonia.

-Jill's mom is having a bad time with her knees and arthritis.

-Gail knows Brad and his family - be in prayer for them as they lost a baby last Saturday.

-Lori & Tim are dealing with children with behavioral problems.
Lori had the opportunity to witness to her childrens mom, who was able to come to every night of the Power Team!!!

-Glennie and Ralph were able to talk with several people and families that came to the Power Team event.
May we keep the Lexington football players in our prayers. Pray specifically for their growth and for follow up.

-Mike & Janean's son, Andrew, went forward on Wednesday. A friend went forward this week, as well as a friend of Janean! AMEN!!

-Brent had the opportunity to go out to eat with a friend and in turn, got him to come to the Power Team. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and plans to bring his family! Hallelujah!

-Janean gave away 85 million dollars to trick or treaters!

-Jill had her federal student aide suspended and prays that her application can be reconsidered!

-Mr. Good's grandson had a nine-year-old friend that came to the Power Team and trusted Jesus as his personal Savior.

-Pray for Roberta, who will be in court as her husband filed for a divorce and her 13 year-old twin boys will be testifying against her.

Mr. Good's Message: Read Luke 14

1. The little things we do WILL have results! Do you believe that? Try it!

2. Everyone loves a committed person.
Pray! Pray for those that have trusted Jesus as their personal Savior! Pray to be an encouragement to others!
Pray that you will do the Lord's work and tell others about Him!
Be a prayer warrior!!

3. Mr. Good handed out a "Basic Quickie Budget" that you should complete with your spouse.
Working on a budget together will force you to be absolutely honest with your mate.

4. Be sure to address these things first:
Giving, Food, Shelter, and Transportation

Working together as a team will help you stay away from this vicious cycle:

1. offense
2. resentment
3. bitterness
4. hatred
5. revenge

Have you passed out any Bible tracts this week?
