Get the Word Out!

What a tremendous blessing it was to have Jennifer and Dennis in our class last week to give their presentation of witnessing to others about the BEST NEWS OF ALL TIME!

We are not guaranteed our next breath.
1) Examine yourself . . . are you really saved?
2) If you truly know the savior, you cannot contain it.
3) If you pass out tracts, read the material first.
4) Put your trust in the Lord and leave tracts for others.
5) Begin to witness to others, face to face.
6) Converse with others - go through the Way of the Master with them.

When you reveal the law, every mouth is stopped! :)

Trail Ministry: SO MANY LOST need you to come to the trail and minister to them . . . will you come next Saturday, even if for only a little while?
It will be a blessing to you!

Reminder: Treats next week!
Normans and Schumachers will bring delicious snacks! :)

Sign up with Mr. Good to be a prayer warrior for the Power Team coming soon!

Ray Comfort has just written a new book called 'Origin of the Species'. He is
shipping 1000 of these books to America's 50 largest universities and
giving them away for free. Be praying about the possibility of going with Mr. Good to distribute some of these books at the University of Illinois on Thursday, November 19th! He will be finding out about details soon.
There are 50 other leaders and teams that will be distributing these books to some of the largest universities! What a blessing and grand opportunity!

Prayer Request:

-Please keep those that are traveling this weekend safe.
-Help Mrs. Good feel better.
-Bless those that have family members that are sick.
(The flu is already in our schools this year.)
-Pray for the Power Team that is coming.
-Change our lives lord and change our purpose this week.
Give all of us a heart's desire to present the truth to others and see people saved!
Pray for Mr. Good and for our entire church family!

(Mr. Good's Notes)

Romans 10:13-17

There is much that can be said for silence, but not when it comes to the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is a silence that
keeps people out of heaven. This is the silence which we should avoid.

In Romans 10:9-17, we are taught that we need to speak up for Christ. Not only as evidence that we are really saved, but also as a means of sharing God's plan of salvation so that others will come to know Christ as Savior.

The MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE in the world is the message of salvation. The message of salvation is important because of the sinful condition of every person who ever lived with the exception of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 64:6, Romans 3:10, 23, Ezekiel 18:4

When I believe in Christ, trusting in His finished work, I believe unto righteousness. God declares me righteous in His eyes because I have trusted in the work of his son.

verses 9-10 - The person who has believed WILL NOT BE SILENT!
If God is present in your life, you will NOT be the same! You will NOT be silent!
You WILL confess with your mouth your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, if the spirit is swelling in you. He will not let you remain silent.

You WILL confess with your life the Lord Jesus Chris. You WILL show by the way you live what kind of change Christ has made in your life. 1 Corinthians 6: 9-11

Our evangelism should NOT be limited to our own doorstep.
There are those called to take the Gospel beyond their local area.
This is what the great commission is all about. Matthew 28:18-20

Romans 10:13-17:
GETTING THE WORD OUT!

It is important for us as Christians that we get the world of Salvation in Christ out to those who need it. (Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Peter 3:10)

God 's Promise: Salvation comes when a person calls in faith upon Christ for salvation.

God's plan - Faith comes by hearing. Hearing comes from God's word.

A person can't call on Christ unless he believes.
A person can't believe on Christ unless he hears the Gospel.
A person can't hear the Gospel unless there is a preacher.
A preacher won't preach unless he is sent.

There are three Greek words for preachers:
those who speak the truth in an assembly (pastor)
Those who preach in the streets
Those who present the Gospel in one-on-one conversations!

Your homework: memorize Romans 10 and go out and tell others about the BEST NEWS OF ALL!

God's proclamation - The feet of those who preach the Gospel is beautiful. God WILL reward the one who brings people to Christ. (Daniel 12:3)

GO out and tell others about how they can spend all of eternity with our Lord and Savior!
